  1. thanks Tess. We were floored by this second win too. Soon you will be able to view Uncle Louie on our website. It's a new world. The fences are coming down and friends are being made across the oceans. No stopping the wave. Real Products can be sold direct to the customer. I love it.

  2. This morning Joe Mangelli informed me that we had been accepted to the Buffalo/Niagra Film Festival. We are stoked beyond words. This means that Uncle Louie will be shown on the big screen. Joe and I had been dreaming of this, of a real, bona fide screening. Very Cool. I have informed my cousin Henry and he will bring the family to cheer us on. I can't wait.

  3. Uncle Louie is a little gem, an art house sleeper, a cult classic. I believe it. The movie works. And it works in spite of its flaws. The story gets told in clear human terms. I didn't get it until the final week of editing. I was convinced we had failed. Nice effort, I said to the crew. We tried. At least we did that. Little did I know. We went back to work on the editing and worked out the kinks. Mangelli came up with a few brilliant sound effects that solved our most troubling problems.Smooth.

  4. Joe and I worked on festival requirements today, more marketing strategies and press releases. We feel confident in our efforts to promote Uncle Louie at the BNFF. We'll see what happens. It's our first festival, so we expect to ride a roller coaster of ups and downs on our way to Buffalo. Just more of life showing up at our feet. That's the way it is, this day in February with clear skies and a bright shining sun. Never before have I been so optimistic about the future.

  5. Thanks Shelly for your continued support. It's been a wild ride. But that's life. You know that from your own life experiences. Hope all is well with you.
